The Empty RiotNe'er head-strong, I did imbue Your fashioned fates whos pretense grew To force my hand an unnatural hue and sent me breaking 32.The Empty Riot
But I kept up that scarlet disguise (a purjured life of lies on trial). Whence spoke my candid cloven guise, "Denial makes the mercury rise."
The jury held in quick contempt For this shadow of a lost lament; A fleeting fiction falsely spent; An open book with no content.
In silence, did the judge arise and spoke, "A man who's built on lies is naught but pleas of self-despise, forgotten hope, and hollow eye
